English And Humanities Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English and Humanities Teacher to join our team on a fixedterm basis. The successful candidate will deliver highquality education in English and Humanities creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.

Commencement Date: ASAP
End Date: 13 December 2024
Hours: 8:30am 4:15pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English and Humanities.
• Develop and implement curriculum plans in line with school guidelines and educational standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the schools academic programs.
• Participate in school events staff meetings and professional development activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance attendance and any other required documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching registration in Victoria.
• Previous experience teaching English and Humanities at the secondary level.
• Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
