Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detailoriented Compensation Compliance Specialist to join our HR team. This role is essential for ensuring our compensation practices comply with all regulatory requirements and support our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal state and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of compensation practices to identify and resolve compliance issues.
  • Develop and implement compensation policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Analyze market data and trends to support the development of competitive compensation packages.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for compensation programs policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to develop and maintain job descriptions and classifications.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of required reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR staff and management on compensation compliance matters.
  • Stay up to date with changes in compensation laws and regulations and advise management on necessary adjustments.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications:

  • Proven 2 years of experience as a Compensation Compliance Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Indepth knowledge of federal state and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compensation analysis tools.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar.
  • Experience in a corporate HR environment particularly in compensation compliance.
  • Familiarity with compensation surveys and market analysis tools.
