Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team. This role is essential for designing implementing and maintaining the robust infrastructure that supports our critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and manage scalable secure and reliable IT infrastructure including servers storage networking and cloud environments.
• Monitor and optimize the performance availability and security of infrastructure components.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and support for applications and services.
• Implement and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware or HyperV.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement backup disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructurerelated issues.
• Stay current with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven 2 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers storage networking and virtualization.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or similar.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Splunk.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
