Senior Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Manager (LowLatency Trading System) with a strong background in fintech specifically experienced in developing highfrequency lowlatency trading systems. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of a stateoftheart pricing and execution engine. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency leadership capabilities and a proven track record in managing dynamic engineering teams within the trading system domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and deployment of a highfrequency lowlatency pricing and execution engine ensuring it meets the specific requirements of robustness performance and scalability.
• Guide mentor and manage a team of engineers (10 staff) specializing in lowlatency trading technologies. Members are located in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define and refine project specifications and deliverables ensuring alignment with business objectives in the trading sector.
• Implement and maintain best practices in coding testing and deployment processes ensuring the reliability and security of the trading platform.
• Oversee performance metrics and system optimization to ensure the trading engine operates at peak efficiency.
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in trading technology and propose integration of cuttingedge tools and practices.
• Manage timelines resources and risk assessments associated with the project ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Ensuring the security of data transmission and system access to protect sensitive financial information and comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in software development leadership particularly in building highfrequency lowlatency systems for financial markets.
• Knowledge of network configurations data transmission and latency optimization is crucial for the development and maintenance of a lowlatency trading system.
• Understanding how distributed systems operate including handling synchronization data consistency and fault tolerance which are essential for maintaining the stability and scalability of trading platforms.
• Deep understanding of trading algorithms data structures and realtime systems architecture.
• Proven capability in leading technology teams in a fastpaced highstakes environment.
• Exceptional problemsolving skills and proficiency in performance tuning and scalability engineering.
• Knowledge of C C# Go or other performancecritical programming languages.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a strong grasp of the full software development lifecycle.
• Fluent in Mandarin (Chinese) in order to liaise with stakeholders stationed in APAC.
