Job Description
Job position: Data Engineer for Financial Sector
Location: Hybrid work from Madrid (3 times per week at the clients office)
PTC Group is recruiting for a digital consultancy and technology services provider that offers edgetocore solutions to help organizations achieve the full potential of AIdriven digital transformation. Utilizing a technologyunified operating model for cloud data and IoT this company delivers endtoend value creation for clients through innovation in digital engineering implementation services products and solutions.
Responsibilities and Tasks of the Job
- Refinement / Envisoning of technical solutions to address business
- Requirements in light of the client Data Standards / Framework
- Implementation of Data Pipelines / Data Processes / APIs within the Data Platform Technical Stack
- Responsible for Development Environment Testing providing base evidence of results
- Support QA Engineers during SIT Testing Phase on Testing environment and responsible for Production deployment
- Support the Team on solving Production environment issues with existing Data Pipelines / REST APIs
- Main responsible on the Documentation effort of the technical solutions implemented (at User Story level / Data Catalog level)
Mandatory Skills
- 5 years working on Data Engineering
- Exposure to Data projects within the domains of Accounting Financial Performance Management Financial Planning & Analysis
- Sound understanding of Data Architecture / Data Modelling
- Python Programming for Data (Functional approach)
- Relational Database / SQL Experience
- Previous exposure to REST APIs ( for Data Pipelines / ETL )
- Previous exposure to SOAP APIs ( for Data Pipelines / ETL )
- Git & CI/CD (multibranch approach)
- Fluent in English (Writing Reading Speaking)
- Experience on working within Agile Teams
- Ability to articulate conversations with Business Stakeholders beyond technical level discussion of the user stories
- Able to design technical solutions to address business requirements
