Job Description

We are Looking for Middleware & Web Application Server engineer

Experiance : 8 yrs

Assess Middleware Integration Services (MQ & Broker)

o Understand message flow patterns and workloads to identify peak usage scenarios

o Identify potential performance bottlenecks and scalability limitations

o Review the deployment architecture for high availability configurations failover mechanisms and load balancing.

o Evaluate the effectiveness of redundancy strategies to ensure uninterrupted message processing.

o Review access controls and authentication mechanisms for message queues and broker components.

o Evaluate middleware configuration settings including connection pools thread settings and memory allocations.

o Review resource allocation and utilization to ensure optimal utilization of CPU memory and storage.

o Assess the effectiveness of monitoring tools and alerting mechanisms for timely identification of issues.

o Review logging and tracing mechanisms to aid in troubleshooting and performance analysis.

o Analyze the network traffic read/write operations and performance of producers & consumers.

o Review reports including message queue lengths message sizes processing times and system resource utilization

Assess IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and IBM HTTP Server

o Assess WAS deployment model including ( Cell Profile Nodes Server )

o Assess JVM server HA deployment for each Application

o Assess the configuration in plugincfg.xml file

o Assess the OS performance tuning parameters for each node in WAS cell

o Assess the node agent configuration with Deployment manager

o Assess the underlay setup ( VM) for WAS server

o Assess and review the configuration file for Http service

o Assess the security elements for http service ( Certificate concurrent session )

o Assess the HA setup for http service

Deliverables:

Current State Report covering observations across each domains (End of Week 08 for review)

Phase 2: Develop Phase (Across All Streams)

Activities:

Recommendations & Initiatives

Develop a list of quickwins to address gaps identified during the assessment

Develop key strategic recommendations on IT infrastructure that serves as an input to the technology strategy current state report

Conduct meetings with relevant Client stakeholders to discuss and finalize recommendations

Formulate a comprehensive draft report outlining strategic recommendations to improve IT infrastructure for each of the below domains:

Middleware & Web Application Server

Engage with key stakeholders at Client to present the draft report.

Facilitate discussions to incorporate stakeholders feedback.

Synthesize insights from meetings to identify priority initiatives for enhancing IT infrastructure.

Develop a detailed roadmap outlining initiatives including objectives scope outcomes and timelines.

Link each initiative to the relevant strategic recommendation.

For each initiative divide tasks into actionable projects.

Share the roadmap with stakeholders for feedback and validation.

Incorporate stakeholders input to refine and improve the initiatives and their sequencing.

Communicate the finalized roadmap to all relevant teams and stakeholders.

Deliverables:

Recommendations & Inputs to the Roadmap Report (End of Week 10 for review)
