Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data preparing reports and providing insights to support strategic decisionmaking. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and create detailed financial models to support decisionmaking processes.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports including variance analyses and forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics identifying trends and providing actionable insights to management.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze data ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and longterm financial forecasts.
• Conduct cost analysis and profitability studies to support pricing and operational decisions.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Provide support for ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Participate in the preparation of materials for board meetings and presentations to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and business intelligence tools.
• Strong understanding of financial statements GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Experience with process improvement and implementation of financial systems is a plus.
