Job Summary:
The Operations Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing operational data identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to optimize production processes. This role requires strong analytical skills a deep understanding of business operations and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze operational processes and data to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes reduce costs and improve overall efficiency.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on operational performance including key metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with production supply chain and finance teams to gather data and insights for analysis.
- Conduct root cause analysis of operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of budgets and forecasts related to operational activities.
- Participate in the planning and execution of special projects aimed at improving operational performance.
- Provide support for the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance operational capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations analysis business analysis or a related role preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel SQL ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices in manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
