Job Description

Job Summary:

The Operations Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing operational data identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to optimize production processes. This role requires strong analytical skills a deep understanding of business operations and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operational processes and data to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes reduce costs and improve overall efficiency.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on operational performance including key metrics and trends.
  • Collaborate with production supply chain and finance teams to gather data and insights for analysis.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development of budgets and forecasts related to operational activities.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of special projects aimed at improving operational performance.
  • Provide support for the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance operational capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations analysis business analysis or a related role preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel SQL ERP systems).
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices in manufacturing.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
