Job Summary:
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis activities including budgeting forecasting financial modeling and performance analysis. This role requires strong leadership skills analytical expertise and the ability to provide strategic insights to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of budgeting forecasting and longterm planning processes.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports including variance analyses and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and decisionmaking.
- Analyze financial results identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze data ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Conduct cost analysis and profitability studies to support pricing and operational decisions.
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and board meetings.
- Manage the financial planning and analysis team providing guidance mentorship and professional development opportunities.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with financial management software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and business intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of financial statements GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a highperforming team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
