Our client Pentapharm AG is an international and innovative company and is part of the DSM Firmenich Group. They employ approximately 100 people and specialize in the production and global sale of active ingredients for the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries.

Production Specialist (m/f/d) Aprotinin & Cosmetics

Location: Aesch BL

Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the team as Production Specialist for Cosmetics and Aprotinin. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing within the forecasted time in the area of Personal Care Products and Aprotinin. You will also support the department of basic materials concerning the availability of the intermediates within the forecasted time.

Tasks

• Manage production orders from initiation to batch record review and set up weekly production plans according to demand
• Support purchasing with the demand for raw materials and quality management in handling complaints deviations and CAPA
• Oversee team management including effective communication guiding direct reports and conducting yearly PDRs
• Ensure compliance with SHE Security Quality and HR guidelines and monitor the teams training program
• Collaborate or lead in maintaining facilities and qualifying equipment/processes in aprotinin production and the biotechnical center
• Participate in customer audits authority inspections and implement action plans postaudit
• Create update and review productionrelated documents and archive them according to defined rules

Qualification

• Completed academic studies in Chemistry Biochemistry Biotechnology or an experienced chemistry lab technician or biochemistry lab technician with extensive experience
• Experience in chromatography processes and team management
• Indepth knowledge of cGMP and ISO environments
• Strong leadership skills and a structured and wellorganized personality
• Nice to have: process design knowledge and financial data capability
