Tasks
- Oversee key financial processes including cash accounting cash forecasting local tax leases and revenue recognition
- Support HR with financial requests (advances severance garnishments)
- Ensure compliance with VAT obligations
- Supervise the AP team on booking accuracy system management tax compliance and timely payments
- Manage client relationships including access management payment execution and overdraft facilitation
- Prepare and present financial data for auditor reviews
- Perform highlevel balance sheet reconciliations
- Participate in accounting automation projects and cost accounting alignment
- Assist the Spain Chief Accountant with process and control improvements
- Collaborate across the organizations structure
Requirements
- Business Administration Bachelor or similar with accounting experience
- Sophisticated skills with the Microsoft Package
- Confident working with a large amount of data
- Knowledge of differences between US GAAP and Spanish GAAP
- High level of analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- True team player with the ability to work autonomously
- Prior experience in a multinational environment
- ERP Oracle and Hyperion Planning experience is a big plus
