Position Overview:

Autodesk is seeking a motivated and experienced Software Development Engineer to join our S4 HANA Technical team within the Core Finance domain of the Enterprise Systems & Experience (ESE) organization. In this role you will design build deliver and maintain solutions in the SAP S4 HANA Ecosystem for our Core Finance Workstream. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the journey to modernize and simplify our platform and enable business model flexibility in a lean/agile environment by contributing to an organization committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

.

Software Engineer who delivers solutions in SAP S4 HANA Fiori S4 HANA upgrade and Business Technology Platform.

.

Be involved in all aspects of software development create and maintain the most reliable secure highperformance API services for integrations with SAP S/4 HANA.

.

Lead the effort to explore evaluate design build test and roll out Business Technology Platform services from SAP such as Conversational AI Robotics process automation Mobile application Machine learning etc.

.

Be the champion of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) for SAP S/4 HANA and ECC from an Engineering Team for Digital Business Platforms supporting RevTrac a CI/CD tool implemented at Autodesk.

.

Lead the Technical Center of Excellence for several technologies in our organization which include defining coding standards naming conventions implementing best development practices and ensuring that deliverables comply with the standards set forth.

.

Review technical specification documents (TSD) perform code reviews and work with functional leads and BSA’s to ensure TSDs reflect and address business requirements.

.

Participate in solution design meetings collaborate with solution architects and functional leads to finalize the design and provide technical direction as needed.

.

Define implement and enforce best coding practices in ABAP development for S/4 HANA.

.

Build highquality code following unit testing and testdriven development.

.

Drive development governance for SAP S/4 HANA and Fiori Ui5 applications and work with all engineering teams to socialize the upcoming changes impact analysis risk assessment and transport management and play a key role in streamlining the process.

.

Spearheaded the effort required to implement technical adjustments (SPDD/SPAU) during the S/4 HANA Upgrade annually and was involved in retrofitting and testing changes during the same.

.

Update and report the status of deliverables in JIRA daily.

.

Keep up to date with the latest trends product offerings and new concepts introduced by SAP and help the team adapt them in our S4 HANA Ecosystem to better address the needs of our business models and financial systems.

.

Document and present your ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughly.

.

Contribute to the technical roadmap and technical debt elimination balancing time resource and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic goals and requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

.

BS or MS in computer science related technology field or equivalent experience

.

Experience working in a technical leadership role and delivering bestinclass software in SAP.

.

10 years of handson experience with SAP ECC and S4 HANA as an ABAP developer and experience as a technical lead.

.

At least three full lifecycle SAP Finance implementation experiences.

.

Proficient in design and development of RFCs BAPI’s Web Dynpro CDS views ALE IDocs ABAP Proxy Web Services OData Services Fiori experience and Enhancement Techniques (User Exits BADI’s Enhancement Spots (implicit and Explicit) Reports Smart Forms Data dictionaries etc.
