What you will be doing:

  • Perform clerical tasks to support timely escrow closings and title recordings.
  • Conduct title research to compile chain of title.
  • Create title files and prepare endorsements and supplemental documents.
  • Investigate and interpret tax records in order to determine tax liability.
  • Document all research by creating title files.
  • Provide customer service to customers and field escrow offices.
  • Interpret and act on instructions from customers and title officers.
  • Search title plant records to compile chain of title.
  • Use research to create and maintain files records and reports.
  • Audit calculations and legal documents for accuracy.
  • Communicate recording information and prepare legal property documents such as endorsements and supplementals.
  • Examine and interpret tax and assessment reports following title practice regarding the issuance of title commitments policies endorsements guarantees and property price endorsements.
  • Communicate professionally with all customers.

Experience you will need:

  • 2 years title industry experience; commercial title experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong detail orientation.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
