Job Description
- Plan design and implement IDC (Internet Data Centre) upgrades and evolution
- Provide NOC team with adequate technical tools for monitoring and managing systems and networks
- Maintain and monitor the Data Center and NOC infrastructure
- Advanced problem troubleshooting/isolation
- Advanced problem resolution following written procedures
- New procedures creations/initiations
- Procedures maintenance and validation
- Report creation, validation & distribution
- Trigger technical escalation processes
- Execute scheduled tasks
- Support sales organization for technical matters when required
- Manage capacity and growth of the NOC and the IDC infrastructures
- Plan, and implement new technologies
- Plan, and implement IDC strategic projects
- Quality assurance and management
- Hosting projects implementation (Firewalls, DNS, switch configurations, network operating systems configurations, etc.)
- Operations of new technology design
- Assist in reporting and documentation, tuning on the tools, introduction of new products/tools for the NOC
- Assist in other activities and projects as needed
- Implementation and maintenance of network, routing, and security
- Customer projects reporting
- Managing technical escalations
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Fortinet products including Fortigate, Fortiauthonicator, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer
- Administer and maintain Cisco routers, Nexus switches, and related networking equipment.
- VMware NSX Network Virtualization Knowledge
