Job Description

Translate the bank strategies into short and long term action plans and prepare department’s annual budgets accordingly.

• Monitor the implementation of the department’s plans and programs, as well as ensure the smooth work flow of the department’s activities, set performance and productivity standards and increase subordinates’ efficiency.

• Select and assign agencies.

• Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures, CBJ Instructions and the Jordanian laws and regulations.

• Define, develop, communicate and manage the Overall Communication Strategy of the Bank related to the brand, products, services, shareholder requirements/deliverables, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate culture/internal stakeholders.

• Ensure all internal and external bank communication (via marketing, public relations, social media) are in line with the bank vision, mission, short and long term corporate strategy as well as the boutique brand image.

• Plan, execute, support and monitor the implementation and progress of communication plans (launching campaigns and maintenance strategies).

• Ensure all brand outputs and bank assets are in line with the Bank’s approved guidelines as well as undertake the implementation of the branding of these areas.

• Review proposals, identify relevance, select and submit for approval to provide sponsorships or to organize events, to promote the Bank’s image and products as well as motivate internal stakeholders.

• Strategically brief, review and submit for approval proposals received from advertising agencies and other media parties.

• Guide departments and product owners on the most impactful method of communication in order to achieve their goals and utilize their budget in the best possible way.

• Support department members in implementing and following up on key tasks – hierarchy escalation and ensure speed of implementation on tasks.

• Ensure internal stakeholders are aware of the brand, its values as well as develop maintenance tactics to act as reminders.
