Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer 3
Our Vision
At RudderStack we are redefining enterprisescale data collection and routing. We are building a customer data platform (CDP) on the customers own data warehouse. Our opensource developerfirst approach is the first of its kind. We understand the outsized impact customer data has on businesses and we understand the challenges and pain points.
RudderStack collects data from 30 sources can transform events on the fly and routes to 200 different marketing sales product analytics applications all with one snippet of code.
We have opensourced 30 GitHub repositories and earned 3900 stars for our rudderserver repository. We provide RudderStack data collection as a service and our SaaS platform processes 100 Billion events every month and growing rapidly.

We are a highperformance team of data security and marketing experts who have spent a lot of time working with largescale data at enterprises in Silicon Valley & India. We are looking to solve the customer data management problem once and for all in a secure compliant and costeffective way.
We are a remotefirst team. We have our team located in US Remote India Remote and Greece Remote.
Were backed by Insight Partners Kleiner Perkins and S28 and have raised $85M in funding. Our customers include Crate & Barrel Acorns Hinge Gatsby InfluxDB Grafana Priceline and more. We process critical customer data for some top companies around the world and are looking for ambitious individuals to join our team and help shape the future of our product.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of product/feature endtoend for all phases from the development to the production and monitoring issues in production.
- Quickly produce wellorganized optimized and documented source code.
- Ensure the developed features are scalable and highly available with no quality concerns.
- Understand problems and pitch to solve them.
- Work closely with senior engineers for refining the implementation.
- Continuously learn and improve skills.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Write Low level design specs on the implementation of features.
- Write High level design specs on the implementation of features.
- Perform detailed and timely code reviews.
- Oncall support for the team services.
- Collaborate with other teams and drive things to completion.
Requirements
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience in Golang is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures Algorithms and CS fundamentals.
- Strong coding and problem solving skills.
- Experience working on the AWS Azure or Google Cloud compute technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong experience in design patterns fault tolerant systems.
