Data Engineer Azure: Job Description .
🌍 Where you’ll do it: Chennai (HO)
🏁 An initial screening of the resume leads to a 3-stage interview process lasting at least a week: ➡️ 15-minute HR chat ➡️ 30-minute Technical Round ➡️ 1 -hour final interview with the CEO/CFO to assess a culture fit

What You'll do?
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabric, and Databricks.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the availability Implement and optimize ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices and adhering to data governance policies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers, providing technical expertise and support as needed.
What You will bring?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure, ADF, Azure Fabric, and Databricks.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and database design.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Azure Synapse Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
