Plan prepare and deliver engaging STEAM lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and media to promote student understanding of STEAM concepts.
Integrate technology handson activities and artistic expression to facilitate experiential learning.
Curriculum Development:
Develop and adapt curriculum to align with state and national STEAM education standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects that connect STEAM subjects to realworld applications.
Stay current with developments in STEAM education and incorporate new resources and methodologies into the curriculum.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Assess student performance through formative and summative assessments providing timely and constructive feedback.
Analyze assessment data to identify student needs and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of student progress and achievement.
Classroom Management:
Establish and maintain a positive respectful and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
Foster a culture of collaboration creativity and mutual respect among students.
Professional Development:
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills and STEAM knowledge.
Engage in reflective practice and seek feedback to continually improve teaching effectiveness.
Collaborate with peers and contribute to the professional learning community within the school.
Bachelor s degree in Education STEAM or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification with a specialization in STEAM education.
Proven experience teaching STEAM subjects at the elementary/middle/high school level.
Strong knowledge of state and national STEAM education standards.
Proficiency in using technology and digital tools to enhance instruction.
Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
