Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Student Success Coordinator & CPR Instructor to join our team. This parttime position involves teaching CPR classes and facilitating skills practice sessions for CNA students. The role also includes providing support and guidance to students to ensure their success throughout their training.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach CPR classes to students and the community.
Facilitate skills practice sessions for CNA students ensuring adherence to state regulations (Note: This does not involve teaching CNA courses).
Provide academic and career advice to students helping them navigate their educational journey.
Monitor student progress and provide additional support as needed.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance performance and progression.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and success.
Assist with curriculum development and updating instructional materials.
Coordinate and participate in student orientation sessions.
Communicate effectively with students staff and healthcare partners.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in allied health education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in a relevant field or certification in an allied health program offered by Winder CNA Training.
Current CPR instructor certification.
Experience in teaching or training in a healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends.
Passion for student success and education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in student advising or academic support roles.
Additional certifications in allied health programs (e.g. CNA Medical Assistant Phlebotomy Technician EKG Technician).
Familiarity with online learning platforms and instructional technology.
