Senior Data Engineer

JOB DETAILS:

• Position: Senior Data Engineer
• Location: Portugal/ Remote (Portuguese residency required)
  

DAYTODAY DUTIES:

As a Data Engineer at Top Sigma you will:

• Develop data engineering projects with a strong emphasis on Databricks and Spark.
• Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement data solutions.
• Optimize and manage data workflows in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Ensure data quality integrity and security.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Databricks and Spark.
• Proficient in AWS SQL Python Snowflake and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proven experience in handling large datasets and complex data architectures.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent English.
• Background in Business Intelligence Business Analytics or Software Development.
