About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Progressive Care Nurse to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll carefully monitor the condition of patients in our progressive care unit ensuring their medical needs are met with precision and empathy. If youre passionate about patient care and have experience in stepdown departments we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Study patients charts medication regimens and test results upon admittance to the progressive care unit.
• Track routine vital signs including heart rate blood pressure and pulse oximetry measurements.
• Interpret measurements from specialized medical equipment.
• Monitor and administer prescribed medication including titration of drug doses.
• Perform diagnostic assessments on changes in measurements and initiate designated interventions.
• Report deteriorating conditions to healthcare specialists and follow intervention instructions.
• Oversee Progressive Care Unit nursing assistants and support staff.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN).
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
• 2 years of experience as a progressive care nurse.
• Experience in Surgical Services (OR Surg Tech PreOp PACU etc) and Cath Lab is a plus.
• Ability to work in a stressful and fastpaced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
