For this role the successful candidate will work as a Research Analyst for SLX s Research Team and its client IMD (Business School for Management & Leadership Switzerland). The Research Associate will work under the supervision of IMD professor Goutam Challagalla to assist the professor in researching companies listening in on interviews writing case studies and developing PowerPoint slides. The research domains will be sustainability and business strategy. The successful candidate will report directly to Professor Goutam.

Roles & Responsibility

• Conducting detailed desk research on various companies.
  
• Listening in on Interviews and taking accurate notes. If required interview key stakeholders with or without the help of the faculty.
  
• Strong Command of the English Language both verbal and written.
  
• Writing initial drafts of case studies under the supervision of the faculty.
  
• Preparing Easy to Understand and Engaging Presentations.
  
• Driving the overall project with interim deadlines and reviews with the faculty.
  
• Conduct different types of research e.g. data gathering library searches literature reviews and field research.
  
• Provide analysis editing and adhoc drafts for academic articles.
  
• Deliver highquality output often within tight deadlines that is in line with Professor Goutam s research agenda and IMD s standards.
  
• Provide ideas and suggestions that could lead to innovative ways of thinking or new ways of presenting research material.
  
• Show the ability to (a) exercise independent decision making to ensure the timely progression of the projects assigned and (b) work under pressure.
  
• Build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.
