DEFENSE ATTORNEY INSURANCE (Permanent)
Our client an established law firm in WNY is looking to hire an Insurance Defense Attorney to join their Syracuse NY office. This is an excellent opportunity with tremendous room for growth and offers a great worklife balance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage insurance defense cases from beginning through resolution
  
• Conduct research/discovery in order to best represent clients during mediations depositions and arbitrations
  
• Draft legal documents including motions and pleadings
  
• Perform all trial preparation with clients and other team members
  
• Handle all litigation matters leading up to and including trial representation
  
• Collaborate with other team members to determine strategies to accurately represent clients and achieve favorable outcomes
  
• Remain uptodate with current trends in defense litigation
  
• Maintain the ability to juggle multiple cases at a time switching from one to another with ease
  
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

Details:

• Position is full time direct hire
  
• Hybrid schedule
  
• Admitted to New York Bar in good standing
  
• $80000$120000 annually depending on experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  
• 2 years litigation experience focused on insurance defense
  
• Excellent computer skills
  
• Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

• Maintain high level of confidentiality
  
• Relocation not available
