Internal Sales Engineer

Job Summary

The main purpose of this position is to assist with internal sales general sales administration and internal commercial support.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Understand Electric Motors Motor Spare Parts Drives Switchgears Generators Panels and all WEG Products.
  
• Assist clients with price availability of stock and technical queries.
  
• Prepare customer quotations via Syspro for all products including cost calculations data sheets and drawings
  
• Liaise with group companies and departments to get quotations for Energy products Manufactured products and Energy systems.
  
• Ensure Purchase orders received are handed over with the correct quotations and all other relevant documents for processing
  
• Assist with technical information required for the processing of Sales orders
  
• Complete Quotations within 24hours.
  
• Ensure that technical and commercial information is saved in an organized manner

• Excellent communication skills on all levels (FacetoFace telephonic and written).
  
• Attention to detail.
  
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  
• A keen sense of urgency and willingness to learn additional jobrelated skills.
  
• Must have patience tact a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.
  
• Ability to cope with high volumes of work
  
• Good Numeracy Skills
  
• Must be able to read write and understand the English and French Languages
  
• Hard Working resourceful ambitious and have excellent business acumen
  
• Years of Experience: (3 to 4 years sales experience relating to electric motors Variable speed drives Electric Panels and associated products)
  

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Predominantly office based.
  
• Is subject to work beyond normal working hours evenings weekends and holidays should the need arise.
  
• Computer literacy Windows MS Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook (SYSPRO / SAP is an advantage).
  
• Good negotiating and presentation skills
