We are hiring a Staff Nurse Post Anaesthetic Care Unit in a Private Hospital in Limerick Ireland.
We are hiring a Staff Nurse Post Anaesthetic Care Unit in a Private Hospital in Limerick Ireland.
37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- To guarantee that a superior level of treatment is consistently upheld.
- To work in an intense fastpaced setting.
- Effectively evaluate the patients state upon arrival in the postanesthetic care unit.
- To be able to monitor and assess the patient constantly looking for any indications of decline.
- Make sure that all procedures for checking are completed precisely and completely and that patient records are kept up to date in compliance with hospital guidelines.
- To successfully communicate with families and patients.
Requirements
- Enrolment in the General Division of the NMBIs live nursing registry.
- Acute hospital experience within the last 12 months is required.
- While not required prior experience in a critical care or postanesthetic care unit would be beneficial.
- Desirable is surgical experience in postoperative care.
- Manifest dedication to patient safety and quality.
- Possess prior experience functioning in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
- It takes strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
