Senior Network Security Test Engineer- Hyderabad

• Lead the team in conducting comprehensive Linux NIC driver testing ensuring the reliability and performance of the underlying network infrastructure.
  
• Develop and implement advanced network security testing strategies including the integration of AI/ML techniques to identify and mitigate complex threats and vulnerabilities.
  
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team reviewing and providing feedback on architecture design and implementation approaches.
  
• Mentor and coach team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
  
• Ensure the quality and reliability of the product by creating and implementing testing strategies reviewing test plans and test cases and conducting code reviews.
  
• Stay uptodate with the latest trends tools and technologies in the field of network security and continuously evaluate and implement new approaches to enhance the teams capabilities.
  
• Actively participate in the hiring and onboarding of new team members contributing to the growth and development of the network security testing team.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field.
  
• Extensive experience in Linux NIC (Network Interface Card) driver testing with a strong understanding of the underlying networking concepts and Linux kernel internals.
  
• Proficient in testing knowledge and implementation of various networking technologies including VLAN IPSec TCP offload IPSec offload NAT Multicast TCP/IP UDP ICMP and ARP.
  
• Expertise in configuring and testing the strongSwan VPN solution ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
  
• Proven skills in conducting advanced network attack testing such as SSH bruteforce attacks SSH header SMURF DDoS attacks HULK Slowloris Benign Teardrop and SYN flood.
  
• Adept at network performance and stress testing using tools like iperf with the ability to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize network configurations.
  
• Highly familiar with a wide range of network debugging tools including Wireshark tcpdump Nmap Ping and Traceroute and the ability to effectively use them for indepth analysis and troubleshooting.
  
• Thorough understanding of firewall rules access control lists (ACLs) and security best practices to ensure the robustness and reliability of network systems.
  
• Extensive experience in integrating AI/ML techniques for advanced network security testing including the ability to develop custom algorithms and models to detect and mitigate complex threats.
  
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team review and provide feedback on architecture design and implementation approaches and mentor and coach team members.
