About the Role: As a Sous Chef youll be the right hand to the Head Chef helping to craft and deliver an exceptional menu using locally sourced highquality ingredients. Youll ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen maintain high standards of food hygiene and mentor junior staff. This role offers a chance to innovate and bring your culinary ideas to life in a supportive environment.

About the Client: Our client runs a beautifully refurbished Grade II listed pub set in the picturesque village of Heckfield. Known for its friendly atmosphere open fires and commitment to local produce the pub has a rich history and a strong reputation for quality. The team is like a family working together seamlessly to provide an unforgettable experience for their guests.

Working Hours:

• 5day working week

• Rota shifts with split shifts

Key Duties:

• Assist in menu planning and development

• Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards

• Manage kitchen staff and oversee operations in the Head Chefs absence

• Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards

• Collaborate with local suppliers

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Passion for using fresh local ingredients

• Excellent organisational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
