Java Team Lead

Our Product:

In the C&I (Commercial and Industrial) group we will be developing the nextgen platform for provisioning monitoring and controlling large scale sustainable energy ecosystems.

Providing asset owners and operational managers the opportunity to analyze their actual and potential revenue and automate the energy distribution and control.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of BE software professionals (Java).
• Distill and clarify product and engineering requirements to your team members.
• Design develop and maintain microservices and applications using Java technologies.
• Collaborate with local and global crossfunctional teams including product owners designers and other developers to analyze design and implement new features and functionality.
• Develop highquality efficient and maintainable code in accordance with industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues as they arise.
• Participate lead or drive Agile development methodologies including sprint planning standups retrospectives and track delivery.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Requirements :

• A degree in Computer Science / Data Science / Software Engineering
• At least 7 years of experience developing code in Java
• Direct experience in leading teams (not only projects)
• Proven experience in designing and developing highquality scalable software applications.
• Strong knowledge of Java and related technologies (Spring etc.).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Fluent in English and Bulgarian both spoken and written.

Advantages:

• Knowledge of Big Data and platforms such as Airflow Kafka Spark ML
• Full stack experience preferably in Java and React
• Experience and knowledge in cloud technologies (big plus for AWS)
• Experience with Docker Kubernetes and Gitlab CI/CD
• Experience in Python
