Job Description

Business Development Representative

Our client is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in generating new sales opportunities and adding qualified leads to the sales funnel. This position reports to the Regional Manager and requires experience in prospecting following up and converting leads into new customers.

What Your Contributions Will Be:

  • Effectively manage and grow the sales pipeline.
  • Prospect for new leads.
  • Cultivate leads from marketing and other sources.
  • Set and complete demo appointments.
  • Maintain current and relevant information on potential customers in Salesforce.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • Relationship Builder: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with potential customers.
  • Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Communication Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Presenting: Confidence and proficiency in delivering presentations and demos.
  • Collaboration Skills: Work effectively within a team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Customer Orientation: Focus on understanding and meeting the needs of customers.
  • Problem Analysis: Ability to identify issues and develop solutions.
  • Business Orientation: Understanding of business principles and practices.

What You Will Need for Success:

  • Previous B2B/SaaS/Software sales experience
  • 1 year relevant experience in a salesspecific role.
  • Experience in developing and managing a geographic sales territory.
  • Proven ability to prospect make contact with clients and book appointments.
  • A desire to be successful in the role with a view to progressing into a business development/account executive opportunity with the business.
