Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivated and maintained a network of thirdparty carriers developing ongoing relationships and collaborations
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
  • Continually analyzing the logistics market to determine freight rates ensuring competitiveness within the marketplace. Negotiated contract with customers and ensured all documentation was complete.
  • Ensure all financial paperwork was processed and maintained verifying payment amounts and billing.
  • Ensure premises assets and communication ways are used effectively
  • Supervise orders of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
  • Communicate with suppliers retailers customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Keep logs and records of executed orders.
  • Adhere to shipping/receiving and regulatorycompliance procedures.
  • Comply with laws regulations and standards.
  • Complete documentation such as pick lists bills of lading work orders and shipping orders using computerbased technology.
  • Complete daily shipping and receiving logs.
  • Dispatch freight for delivery and arrange for pickups.
  • Record shipment data such as weight charges and damages.
  • Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue shipping instructions and delivery of materials.
  • Rectify problems such as damages shortages and nonconformance to specifications.
  • Document and escalate any customer service issues and/or shipping/receiving errors.
  • Verification of the HS CODE.
  • Handling All kind of Hazard shipments.

Criteria:

  • Associates degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
  • Experience with logistics software or systems (e.g. ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
