The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Support Technician. This position will be funded by the project SOLARCO TEDBC21 financed by the Spanish Ministry MCIN/AEI/10.13039/and by the European Union NextGeneration EU/PRTR.

ICIQ is looking for a Support Technician to work in the group of Prof. Emilio Palomares.

• We are looking for a person with a solid background in photo and/or electrocatalysis to support the researchers involved in the project.

Requirements

• Test of electrocatalytic activity in samples prepared by collaborators

• Knowledge on characterization techniques based on spectroscopy

Valued qualities:

• Experience in photo(electro)catalysis
• Knowledge of the behavior of solar cells will be positively valuated
• Fluent in English.

We offer:

• A fulltime employment contract linked to the TEDBC21 project.
• Remuneration according to the Institute salary scales.
• Annual salary split into twelve monthly payments.

Selection Process

ICIQs selection process usually entails the following phases:

• Preselection: The preselection process will be based on qualifications and expertise as reflected on the candidates CVs. This phase is meritbased.
• Interview: Preselected candidates will be interviewed by the Hiring Manager of the position and the appointed Selection Committee.
• Offer Letter:Once the successful candidate is selected the People Unit will extend a Job Offer specifying the start day salary and overall job conditions.
