Your future team will develop innovative software and simulation solutions to redefine the procurement processes in plastic thermoforming and take them to the next level of process automation and efficiency!

Tasks

• You work closely with toolmaking mechanical engineering and plastic thermoforming manufacturers to generate technical insights and collect data
• You program applications that use CAD APIs to create automated modeling of tools and deepdrawn parts
• You model production processes technical systems and physical relationships in computer models and algorithms
• You lead the cooperation with research institutes and incorporate their results on material characterization and deep drawing simulations into your solution
• You validate and optimize your models with the help of experimentally obtained data
• You hand over your proof of concepts to the software development team for implementation in production software and customer and supplier solutions

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science engineering or natural sciences (mechanical engineering computational engineering computational mechanics automation technology mechatronics electrical engineering aerospace mathematics physics)
• Very good knowledge of at least one programming language of your choice such as C C# Python JavaScript
• Knowledge of CAD programming and scripting ideally you have practical experience in design tools FEM analyses and simulations
• You combine a passion for programming with a great enthusiasm for technology
• You have the ability to always keep an eye on the big picture and want to drive your projects forward proactively and independently. You communicate in a clear and structured manner and are driven by being part of a performanceoriented team
