BUSINESS UNIT

At HRS we understand Finance as a valueenabling function as it is an essential ingredient to our business success. In order to ensure the efficient financial management and financial control necessary to support all business activities it comprises all major related responsibilities: from Financial and Cash Flow Management Accounting Advising and longerterm financing Tax Management Investment Management to Purchasing Controlling Budgeting and Forecasting as well as Financial Reporting and Analysis to assisting and challenging the CEO Business Unit Leaders and Managers in making key strategic decisions.
The department is set up as a shared service for the HRS Group with a crosslocation team of around 40 experts headed by the CFO and his Management Team working on standardized workflows to increase efficiency on the one hand and apply state of the art decisionmaking tools and principlebased recommendations to foster organizational resilience in times of rapid change on the other.

POSITION

We are looking for a Cologne based Team Lead Accounting (all genders) to lead a team of accounting professionals and drive overall accounting process optimization.

Tasks

Responsibility for the preparation of the monthly quarterly and annual financial statements of the German companies of the HRS Group
Ensure ongoing accounting and payment transactions
Compliance with legal and reporting requirements
Continuous optimization and further development of existing processes in the area of finance and accounting
Operational involvement in daytoday business and monthend closing activities
Contact person for auditors tax advisors and public authorities for the companies for which you are responsible
Leading and coaching of a team of up to 5 people

Requirements

Completed university degree with a background in business administration or comparable apprenticeship. Additional qualification as a certified accountant is an advantage
Solid knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards and German tax law
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
Independent responsible and solutionoriented way of working as well as strong communication and implementation skills
Strong knowledge of MS Navision SAP and MS Office is an advantage
Fluent in German and English written and spoken
