BUSINESS UNIT

At HRS we understand Finance as a valueenabling function as it is an essential ingredient to our business success. In order to ensure the efficient financial management and financial control necessary to support all business activities it comprises all major related responsibilities: from Financial and Cash Flow Management Accounting Advising and longerterm financing Tax Management Investment Management to Purchasing Controlling Budgeting and Forecasting as well as Financial Reporting and Analysis to assisting and challenging the CEO Business Unit Leaders and Managers in making key strategic decisions.
The department is set up as a shared service for the HRS Group with a crosslocation team of around 40 experts headed by the CFO and his Management Team working on standardized workflows to increase efficiency on the one hand and apply state of the art decisionmaking tools and principlebased recommendations to foster organizational resilience in times of rapid change on the other.

POSITION

We are looking for a Cologne based Finance Operations Manager (all genders) to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Tasks

Generate and process invoices accurately and efficiently for products and services provided to clients to ensure timely revenue generation
Manage and oversee the endtoend resolution of customer claims and billing disputes to enhance customer trust and contribute to positive client experiences
Collaborate closely with Sales Customer Service and other relevant departments to understand the nature of customer claims and identify root causes of billing discrepancies
Implement proactive strategies to prevent recurring billing issues and disputes working towards a sustainable solution
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of customer claims resolutions and communication in compliance with company policies to ensure transparency compliance and the ability to learn from past resolutions
Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding billing disputes providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and satisfactory issue resolution
Analyze trends and patterns in customer claims to identify systemic problems and recommend process improvements
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on customer claims resolutions and improvement initiatives for management review
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on proper billing practices dispute resolution procedures and SAP BRIM functionalities to enhance team capabilities and reducing errors

Requirements

Experience:
Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field or comparable education
Experience as a Billing Specialist/Finance Operations Manager (in a related field) with a strong focus on customer claims and issue resolution

Domain Expertise:
Experience in SAP beneficial and preferably Navision are a plus
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex billing data identify patterns and develop strategic solutions for longterm issue resolution
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel

ProblemSolving and Creativity:
Strong problemsolving and attention to detail

Personal Attributes:
Customeroriented mindset with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Language Skills:
Fluent in German and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
