Wiring Haress Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Design wiring harnesses including creating schematics 3D Digital MockUps (DMU) and 2D drawings.

• Define power distribution grounding and fusing schemes.
  
• Define Design Verification Plan (DVP) requirements.
  
• Prepare Product Design Specifications (PDU SOR) and select wiring harness components.
  
• Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for wiring harness designs.
  
• Ensure designs comply with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Serviceability (DFS) requirements.
  
• Coordinate with the purchasing department for development activities.
  
• Achieve cost quality and timeline targets.
  
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for build and validation issues.
  

Requirements

• Expertise in automotive and industrial wiring harness design and development.
  
• Proficiency in creating wiring harness schematics and 2D drawings.
  
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) release cycles and product development processes.
  
• 2 years of experience in wiring harness design and development
  
• Strong technical knowledge of wiring harness design principles.
  
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver highquality results.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to innovate and improve existing designs.
  
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
