Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Manager Blow Moulding Facility ( SPL).
Level: Mid Level Management.
Function: We produce 1) pharmaceutical bottles 100 ml & 150 mL 2) Cosmetic bottles 275 ml & 450
ml 3) Jerrycans 500 ml 1L 4L 5L 10L 20L 25L 30L & 50L 4) Drums 200L & 250L
To produce these items we have Jagmohan Bester Uniloy Tongda CMP & IBM machines.
The main role is managing & overseeing the Maintenance function end to end.
Role objective Machine up keep with minimum unplanned downtime.
Jobs include Preparing a Preventive Maintenance plan for all the Machines measuring
instruments and equipment. To ensure effective and smooth coordination of operations & Maintenance teams and provide
repairing & maintenance of machineries & moulds.
This position will have the overall accountability to:
Responsible for the overall management Maintenance function of the whole facility
Followup and supervision must be done to ensure that machinery and moulds are
maintained on time.
Manage local staff deployed under him.
Requirements
Qualifications: MBA Electrical engineers and Bachelors.
Experience:
Good knowledge of blow moulding machine maintenance like electrical electronic and
Hydraulic. He must handle maintenance of machines independently.
To schedule preventive maintenance of various machines to maintain health of the
machines or minimise breakdown time.
Installation Commissioning & maintenance of Blow moulding machines Electric Panels
auxiliary equipments Air compressor Water chillers & Cooling towers.
Generating reports of daily check points of the machines Machine health checkup
daily breakdown hours Energy reports Weekly and Monthly maintenance Reports.
Executing cost saving and energy saving techniques/ measures and modifications to
achieve substantial reduction in O & expenditures.
Monitoring of spare parts In and Out. Ensure that all parts inventory in proper manner.
Strive to ensures the efficiency of the plant by optimizing the utilization of power for
respective machines and suggesting required for improving productivity in terms of
cycle time manpower reduction speed energy saving continual improvement.
Responsible for handling machine breakdowns and resolving within a prompt time.
Responsible to preparation of maintenance budget on monthly & yearly basis.
Required Behavioural skill sets:
Communication skills English speaking ability is a must.
Interpersonal & team skills.
Planning & organising skills.
Cost consciousness.
