Project Manager - Mechanical Electrical

5 months contract with a local authority

Job Summary:

The role is to lead on mechanical project delivery and requires an engineer with a HND or above in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in construction management or Building services who can take ownership of M&E projects complete the design/ specification tender the projects then manager the delivery program whilst actively supporting the day to day maintenance by managing the mechanical contractors and providing expert mechanical engineering advise for repairs.

Essential Experience Required:

Experience of monitoring the work of M&E engineering consultants and contractors vetting their invoices and claims for payment & carrying out technical vetting of their performance

Essential Qualifications Required:

MIMechE

Holds a degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering subject
