Job Description

We are excited to announce that we are interviewing candidates who are committed to transforming the educational experiences of visually impaired students. This role provides a unique chance to work closely with educators administrators and families ensuring that students receive the essential support and specialized instruction they need.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Braille instruction and adapt curriculum materials.
  • Utilize adaptive technology to enhance learning experiences.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success.
  • Engage with families to create a supportive educational environment.

Requirements

  • Commit to working fulltime hours during the upcoming School Year
  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Education for the Visually Impaired or a related degree
  • Florida Teaching Certification with endorsement for Teaching Visually Impaired Students
  • Required to undergo a background check and drug screening before the start of the assignment
