Responsibilities:

• Creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Preparing for classes assigned and showing written evidence of preparation upon request
• Establishing a standard of classroom behavior and maintaining classroom management in and outside of the school
• Conferring with parents administrators specialist and appropriate resource staff to develop educational programs for students
• Maintaining accurate complete and correct records as required by law and district regulations
• Planning and using appropriate instructional strategies assessments activities materials and technology that reflect accommodations for the individual needs of students

Qualifications:

• Must be fully licensed
• Knowledge about SpEd laws policies and procedures
• Valid Teaching License
• Experience in an urban school preferred
