Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets ensuring adherence to financial targets.
  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain financial accuracy. Expense Control: Monitor expenses and identify costsaving opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits facilitating a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide insights through financial analysis to support decisionmaking.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized financial records and documentation.


Requirements

MUST HAVE Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field (Masters degree or relevant certifications preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. (Finance Officers and Accountant with 5 or more years can apply)
  • Indepth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • MUST HAVE WORKED IN A MICROFINANCE COMPANY
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance.
  • Strong Leadership skills
