Quality Control Manager- Aerospace

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inprocess Inspection

Monitoring deviations root cause analysis and corrective actions; reduce rejection and rework; process improvements and cost reduction.

Monitor in process NonConformity Report and Closure by CAR

Final Inspection

Customer Interaction Offer parts and assemblies for Customer Inspection and coordinate for Customer Clearance of Parts if required.

Organize First Article Inspection/ Part Inspection / Final Assembly Inspection as per Customer requirements and Quality Plan either Inhouse / Vendor location as required.

Organize and Monitor Final Inspection before Dispatch and generate Inspection Reports and Create Dispatch advise

Plan and Monitor for Procurement of Gauges / Inspection Instruments/ Calibration of Instruments.

Maintenance of records of Quality Inspection Reports Test Reports Project Documentation Certificates inspection requests noncompliance reports and onsite monitoring/inspection as required.

Ensure GRN clearance for Vendor Supplied Raw Materials and Parts request by ERP

Compliance to Quality Systems AS 9100D ISO 27001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001; Improve Effectiveness of Quality Systems and its adherence by all functions related to QCM

Implement Best Practices and Quality Methodologies to improve Product and Process Quality 5S Problem Solving and Troubleshooting.

Improve Inprocess and Final Product Quality by engaging internal stakeholders.

Drive a Culture of Zero Defects & Zero Customer Complaints

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

BE/ B.tech (Mechanical) with 812 years of experience (Preferable) or Diploma (Mechanical) with 1215 years of experience

Experience in Mechanical and Engineering Industries in Aerospace / Manufacturing Industries in Tier1 / OEM/Medium Scale Organization/MSMEs

Experience in Inspection and Testing of Mechanical Assemblies and Components.

Experience in AS 9100D (mandatory) ISO 27001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 Implementation related to Quality

Certifications in Internal Auditor

Experience in using Quality Tools
