Job Description

Red Ember Recruitment is looking for a HR Manager for our client in Cape Town we are looking for a candidate who is technically savvy innovative and goal driven individual.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Employee Relations
  • Investigating preparing and initiating all formal discussions disciplinary and incapacity cases
  • Mediating grievances
  • Representing the Party at the CCMA
  • Ensuring HR policies are reviewed and updated
  • Providing legal advice
  • Preparing and submitting the annual Employment Equity report
  • Employee relations administration
  • Recruitment
  • Effectively managing the recruitment function
  • Ensuring changes to employment terms are managed effectively
  • Developing and maintaining an effective internship programme

Experience in:
  • Investigating and initiating disciplinary enquiries and CCMA hearings
  • Supporting retrenchment processes
  • Mediating grievances
  • Handling incapacity matters
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Experience in submission of Employment Equity reports is advantageous
  • Knowledge of South African Labour Relations Act Basic Conditions of Employment Act Employment Equity Act and any other relevant legislation
  • Familiarity with HR information systems
  • Excellent administrative skills organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholder



Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate or equivalent
  • Relevant tertiary qualification related to labour relations/labour law/human resources
  • 5 years experience or exposure to the labour relations environment
