Assistant Warehouse Manager (Restoration Contents Division)
Position: Assistant Warehouse Manager
Division: Restoration Contents
Location: Cypress
Company Overview:
Our client a leader in the restoration industry is seeking a meticulous and organized Assistant Warehouse Manager to join their Restoration Contents Division. This role involves managing the inventory of contents taken from clients homes or businesses ensuring they are cleaned and stored properly during property rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Oversee the inventory of contents removed from clients properties.
Ensure accurate logging tracking and documentation of all items.
Manage the cleaning storage and safe handling of contents.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively and candidly with customers regarding their contents.
Address customer concerns and provide updates on the status of their items.
Coordinate with clients to arrange the return of contents postrestoration.
Warehouse Operations:
Assist in daily warehouse operations ensuring a clean organized and safe environment.
Operate and work around forklifts ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Support the Warehouse Manager in maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing storage solutions.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the restoration team to ensure seamless coordination of content handling.
Assist in training and supervising warehouse staff as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferably within the restoration or a related industry.
Proven ability to maintain organization and attention to detail in a fastpaced environment.
Skills:
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills capable of having candid conversations with customers.
Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred but not required).
Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
Attributes:
Reliable and selfmotivated with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Adaptable and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
