Job Description

Position Overview:

The Trade Associate is responsible for generating sales leads building client relationships achieving sales goals and ultimately meeting customer needs. The role holder will manage the sales cycle from pipeline generation to close with the supervision of the line manager or HOD.

Key Responsibilities:

    Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.

    Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.

    Build and promote strong longlasting customer relationships by partnering with them to understand their needs.

    Identify emerging markets.

    Understand our ideal clients and how they relate to our service offerings.

    Work to build a sales pipeline.

    Maintain and grow strategic industry relationships and networks.

    Liaise accordingly with internal supply team for products.

    Prepare weekly and quarterly report.

    Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecast.

    . Responsible for endtoend receivables.


Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree preferably in Chemistry Industrial Chemistry Chemical Engineering or other related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales in either of the following chemical categories:
    1. Food and Pharmaceuticals
    2. Paint and Construction
    3. Home and Personal Care
    4. Specialty Chemicals
  • Well exposed to the Food and Pharmaceutical Water treatment Plastics Mineral/Mining and Industrial Chemical industries in the Eastern Nigeria.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and CRM.
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Negotiation and Networking
  • Attention to details.
  • High integrity level.
  • Ideal candidate must reside in the eastern part of Nigeria.
