Job Description
- Lead the development of comprehensive policies and guidelines that adhere to both local and global accounting standards and best practices
- Efficiently oversee the preparation of regular financial reports and accounting tasks
- Ensure accurate monitoring of the asset register
- Proactively address inquiries from the GCA General Court Of Audit and other relevant government agencies regarding financial and accounting transactions
- Represent the management and the entity in various committees and meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure timely submission of periodic reports on budget implementation for all sectors and administrative units, along with necessary financial reports
- Effectively manage disbursement, payment, and collection activities, as well as cash management and banking relationships
