Senior DTP Specialist

Job Description:

• Use DTP software to produce a layout for each page of the publication and Solve problems related to work.
• Providing technical support to Junior Desktop publishing staff.
• Paying attention to minor details.
• Sharing expertise with colleagues.
• Using publishing technologies such as Adobe InDesign Illustrator and Photoshopetc
• Complete own projects on time and in line with quality standards.
• completes the DTP steps required in a localization project
• complete project tasks include evaluation preparation formatting delivery and back up of the project files
• Project deliverables range from technical docs (online & offline) to brochures and art files.
• Performing layouts for reports and catalogs and image correction or manipulation.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on a timely basis.
• Deliver weekly/monthly reports to direct manager

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the same field
• Should have handson experience in Adobe in Design Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Should have handson experience in typesetting adaptations of digital marketing creatives page
• Knowledge of Grids and Guidelines.
• Layout sensitivity & knowledge of Fonts.
• Should have extensive knowledge at eLearning projects at least 35 years
• Excellent designing skills especially with design and photoediting software.
• Knowledge of publishing regarding the specification of page size binding and cutting area (Trim and Bleeds) and processing formats for color printing.
• Work methodically and pay attention to detail.
• Should have previous experience in Typing.
• Should have handson experience with PDF corrections.
• Should have handson experience in typesetting Layout designing of inside text pages and cover
• be able to perform text/picture corrections on PDF files in case open files are not available.
• Should be resourceful to arrange the software/fonts for some critical corrections from the internet.
