Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a CDLA Dedicated Flex Company Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDLA license and a clean driving record. As a Dedicated Flex Company Driver you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations ensuring timely and safe delivery. This is a fulltime permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate companyowned vehicles in a safe and efficient manner

Transport goods and materials to designated locations

Perform pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely and efficient delivery

Provide exceptional customer service to clients

Follow all company policies and procedures

• Load freight lift requirement: 80 lbs
• Unload freight lift requirement: 80 lbs
• Move freight force requirement: 54 lbs
• Open/Close Trailer Doors force requirement: 46 lbs
• Count freight
• Complete fuel tickets
• Obtain sales leads
• Hook/Unhook trailer force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)
• Perform pretrip inspections
• Drive
• Regular predictable attendance
• Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
• Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level

Qualifications:

• Must live within 100 miles of Hewitt TX
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have 1 year of verifiable tractortrailer experience within the past 3 years including at least 6 months OTR experience
• Must have Class A CDL
• Must apply for tanker endorsement within 30 days of hire and must obtain tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire will be reimbursed upon receipt
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
• No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years
• No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater following too closely improper passing traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and schedules including weekends and holidays
• Being adaptable to change and having the desire to work with a wide variety of freight
• Serve multiple customers will only work for 1 account at a time (a minimum of 1 week or until the customers needs are met) then haul another dedicated customers product
