Job Description
- The Social Content Specialist will be responsible for:
- Brainstorming, pitching and creating locally vibrant social and video content that expresses the Etsy brand voice
- Writing social captions and content in German
- Executing remote and in-person social content capture, including video and voiceover
- Sourcing and cataloging UGC content from our seller and buyer community, and helping to edit and optimize this content for our channels
- Identifying new social content creators and Etsy stories from our seller and buyer communities
- Communicating directly with Etsy sellers for video projects: building briefs and guidelines, seeking rights approvals and keeping projects on deadline
- Working directly with social content creators to help enable their work by sourcing, vetting and acquiring approved Etsy merchandise
- Surfacing new ideas and opportunities to the team, informed by cultural trends, industry news and competitive insights
- Draw insights, analyze and report on social media metrics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Stay on top of the ever-evolving social landscape, from user and platform trend to industry news to emerging features.
