Accounting Finance Expert with English

Our client is a worldclass BPO provider expanding their operations in Turkey and looking for a dynamic and motivated Accounting and Finance Expert to join their team in Istanbul. This role will be responsible for supporting Turkeys operations in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.

Tasks

• Working with External Accounting and Tax Advisors managing the daytoday relationship sending information for processing (Vendor invoices Sales Invoices Bank statements General Journals).
• Calculation of monthly Client Billing and subsequent collection.
• Monthly review for accuracy and completeness of General Ledger provided by External Accountants adjusting between local RAS and IFRS where necessary.
• Monthly reporting of financials to our regional office in Spain to tight deadlines.
• P&L variance and profitability analysis across all Client campaigns and cost centers.
• Monitoring bank activity and processing vendor and payroll payments.
• Managing the monthly payroll process. Collating amendments in collaboration with Operations teams and outsourced payroll providers. Reconciliation and preparation of payroll journals.
• Support the Europe Finance Manager in creating Budgets and Forecasts for input into the Regional budget.
• Support Europe Finance Manager in Annual Accounts preparation and Audit.
• Cashflow forecasting and reporting to Head office.
• Creating strong processes suitable for a Sarbanes Oxley control environment.
• General office administration eg ordering supplies and stationery as well as pitching in and rolling up sleeves in our dynamic startup environment.

Requirements

• 5 years experience preferably in an international environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A competent autonomous allround Finance professional looking to take on more responsibility and the next step in their career.
• Candidate must have a Diploma Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma Bachelors Degree Professional Degree Masters Degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Newly qualified (eg ACCA or similar) would be an advantagethis role will grow!
• Knowledge of Turkish accounting and fiscal obligations as well as IFRS.
• Demonstrable ability and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
