Data & AI Strategy Manager

Location: Belgium (Hybrid Working)

Job Summary:

The Data Strategy Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive data strategies that align with the organizations business objectives. This role requires a good understanding of Data Management Analytics and ML AI Technology trends as well as the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement datadriven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data strategy development data governance and a track record of successfully driving data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and articulate the organizations data strategy.
  
• Assess current data capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement.
  
• Develop and implement data roadmaps that align with business goals.
  

Data Governance:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  
• Ensure data quality integrity and security across the organization.
  
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to data regulations.
  

CrossFunctional Collaboration:

• Work closely with IT business intelligence and analytics teams to implement data solutions.
  
• Foster a culture of datadriven decisionmaking across departments.
  
• Provide guidance and support to teams on datarelated projects.
  

Technology Evaluation and Implementation:

• Stay abreast of emerging data technologies and trends in Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Analytics Cognitive etc.
  
• Evaluate and recommend tools and platforms that enhance the organizations data capabilities.
  
• Oversee the implementation of data management solutions.
  

Performance Measurement:

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives.
  
• Regularly report on the progress of data strategy implementation to senior management.
  

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a related field (e.g. Business Engineering Data Science Information Management Business Analytics).
  
• Proven experience 24 years in developing and implementing data strategies.
  
• Indepth knowledge of data governance data quality and regulatory compliance.
  
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead crossfunctional teams.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Fluent in English and ideally Dutch or French
  
• Familiarity with relevant data technologies and tools.
